On the short route of the Vitoria Cycle Tour, we will start with the classic tour of the reservoir, continuing through the Llanada Alavesa until we reach Agurain. Once there, we will begin to pedal up the slopes of the Puerto de Opakua (1025 m) and then enjoy the descent to Maeztu, where we will find the main refreshment point.
We will enjoy and, at the same time, suffer one of our most mountainous sections, the Montaña Alavesa, before gradually beginning our return to Vitoria by climbing the Puerto de Azazeta.
Once we reach the top, we will ride on flat terrain again through our Llanada Alavesa, enjoying the last few kilometers before reaching the finish line in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

General Description
On the long route of the Vitoria Cycle Tour, we will start with the classic tour of the reservoir, continuing through the Llanada Alavesa until we reach Agurain. Once there, we will begin to pedal up the slopes of the Puerto de Opakua (1025 m) and then enjoy the descent to Maeztu, where we will find the main refreshment point.
We will enjoy and, at the same time, suffer one of our most mountainous sections, the Montaña Alavesa. We will pass through one of the most beautiful spots in our province, the Izki Natural Park, before descending to Bernedo. We will climb again, this time up the spectacular Puerto de la Aldea, entering Navarre, before descending to Laguardia with impressive views of Rioja Alavesa.
We will start again, gradually climbing until we reach the beginning of the demanding Puerto de Herrera. Once we reach the highest point, we will descend to Peñacerrada, continuing along the Water Route to reach Zambrana.
Finally, we will have the last mountain pass, Zaldiaran, which, passing through Treviño beforehand, will lead us to the finish line in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
